Nicolas & Ania

Ania and I were both using the Are You Interested Facebook app. She started by sending a cocktail to all her matches. I replied by a “Thank you, I was thirsty.” This is how our wonderful story began.

We continued to get to know each other via webcam. We talked every day for several hours, sometimes until 4am. The more we were speaking, the more it became obvious: I had to see her. The problem is that I was living in France and she was from Poland. 1400km separated us. It’s always scary to go alone in an unknown country, where you don’t know anyone, to meet someone you only know virtually.  We had an appointment in Warsaw airport. I was so anxious to meet her. The plane landed. I went to the hall and I saw her. I will remember my whole life that smile on her lovely face. It was magical. She was finally here, in front of me.

We are living together now in France. She moved in my place 6 months after we first met :)   That was the beginning of our fairy tale. It’s been three years since we met, and I must say that the life I lead is above all my hopes. I now know what the word “happiness” means.

We got married last summer and our little girl, Léa, was just born. We discover together what means to be parents. It’s not always easy, but when you live with your soul mate, you can be just optimistic when you look at the future.

Thank you to all the team of “Are You Interested”.

Kaitlin & Aaron
September 21, 2009 was one of those ordinary days that was destined to be extraordinary. I had spent the day in class and doing homework, and when I returned home I decided to relax with my sisters and listen to some music while I checked Facebook. As usual, I had a bunch of alerts from the app “Are You Interested?” that I had added three months before, not long after I ended my long-term relationship with my fiance. I had made a couple friends on the app, but after my bad summer dating experiences I largely ignored it. I was going to be single, I decided.Curiosity got the better of me, so I weeded through the messages, likes, winks, and so forth. That is how I found Aaron, among my Winks and Yeses. There was no cheesy music or flashing neon sign that said “THIS IS THE ONE,” but still, something about him drew me in. I was certain he would be just another player, but I found myself returning to his profile more than once. I was going to ignore him, but something told me that even such a small decision as that could change my life, so to be on the safe side I clicked Yes on him and fully believed that would be that.

He sent me a message containing virtual chocolates and his desire to get to know me better. The message was sweet, and I was just a little swayed, so I responded and told him that if he really had any interest in getting to know me, he should add me on Facebook. He did, and the next day we had our first conversation via Chat. We had an instant connection, an innate trust, and we talked every night but one, transitioning from Chat to Aim to the phone. Neither of us had been looking for a relationship, especially with someone three hundred miles away, but barely two weeks into talking, we became a couple after he laid it all on the line. He told me that whether I wanted to take things slowly or make things official, he would be there waiting for me.

He made the trip from North Carolina to West Virginia in November to meet me with his younger brother who did his best to make himself scarce for most of our visit. In the first moments, we hugged and did our best to absorb the fact that we were really, truly together. He gave me a dozen red roses, and on the way to an island park, the ice broke when we sang Aretha Franklin’s “R-E-S-P-E-C-T” along with the radio. We walked along the river until the shore ran out, and played on the swings. In the children’s fort I had to resist the urge to make the first move, to kiss him. He let me drive his truck, which was…daring to say the least, and we enjoyed good food and conversation at my favorite Chinese restaurant where we received fortunes on what a deep, sincere friendship we had between us.

We left, and I took him to a surprise location. I had only been there once before, at night, so it was a bit tricky to find. We got lost a couple times, and once found ourselves at a creepy campsite that could easily have been the set for a horror film. A couple wrong turns later, we found the spot off the trail where the rocks made a pathway out to a huge boulder in the middle of the river. The stars shone so brightly above, the river rushed below, and it was simply breathtaking. We stood there, holding each other, and a single star fell. He asked if he could kiss me. Of course, I said “Yes!” We stayed out for most of the night talking and gazing at the stars, and it was at the end of this visit that he told me that he was falling in love with me.

The month after, I visited him in North Carolina and met his family. Not five minutes into the meeting, his mom high-fived him and told him what a good job he had done. She not-so-subtly hinted that we should get married. A couple months later, I moved to North Carolina, a month and a half after that we got engaged, and four and a half months after that we eloped at Topsail Island in a courthouse-to-personal beach ceremony where we exchanged vows we had written ourselves. August 7th we celebrated our first anniversary and have only grown in our love. We have been through so much in our time together, and have only grown stronger for it. We now have a wonderful life a thousand miles from where we started, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds.

Note: The first collage is of us at the time of connecting on AYI, the second is of our first visit/date, and the third shows one of our favorite wedding pictures and a photo from a few weeks ago.

Verla & Evan

Evan and I met on Are You Interested. We are now making wedding plans! We wanted to thank you for the electronic connection!!! In August of this year, we connected with each other.  Neither of us was looking for a mate.  We thought perhaps we could find someone to go out to share a meal, movie or a phone call. Evan finally sent me his phone number.  It didn’t take long to know that we had something more than we either had planned for. We talked for hours, and learned all about each other.  We were amazed that we were so compatible in our beliefs. We give the credit to God, even he can even use electronics!! Our rings are purchased, and things are moving forward.  I’ll join him where he lives.  We are so anxious to start our lives together! Hey, I will be 80 on Monday!! We’ll celebrate together!

Yvette & Derek

On the 20th of March 2008, I clicked on Derek’s picture in Are You Interested? Lucky for me, he clicked on my picture too, so we had a Match. That evening, we started chatting on MSN until 2am. The next evening, we carried on until the early hours again (I printed this chat some months later and we discovered it was 28 pages long!).

I, shy as I am, asked Derek if he wanted to meet in person. I was so happy that he agreed to do so. Instead of just a drink, we had an evening meal together too and really enjoyed each other’s company. Having met up a few more times, we decided to “give it a go as a couple”. As Derek wisely said, “If we don’t try, we will never know.” Luckily for all of us, Derek and my then 9 year old daughter really get on well too, because that could have been a major problem. Being happy is so important and we are VERY lucky to have been given this chance.

To cut a long story short, we have now been happy together for five years, sharing a home for the last two years and never looked back.

THANK YOU, Are you interested? If it was for you, we would have never met!

Angela & Stephen

Thank you so much! Stephen found me Are You Interested? via Facebook. He didn’t have an actual photo of himself at first, but I really liked his profile. As I got to speaking with him after we became Facebook friends, I really liked his personality- warm, friendly, funny… what his physical appearance was really didn’t matter to me. When I saw a photo of him and then met him in person, he was everything I had hoped and prayed for and more. That he is good looking is just icing. We are only about three towns away from each other! I fell for the warm, compassionate, caring beautiful man that he is- but if not for Are You Interested, I would never have met him.

LaJeana & George

Hello, George here. I hope whoever is reading this believes in the saying, “What comes around goes around.” There was a tornado in Tuscaloosa that destroyed parts of the city. Down here in Alabama, I own a small cafe. We took up donations for the relief effort. Then came the day to take the goods and  cash I had gathered up to Tuscaloosa . When I got there, I got a few handshakes and thanks . I came home still not knowing a single person there in the city of Tuscaloosa . A few days later, I saw LaJeana on Are You Interested, so I winked at her . The very next day she winked back at me. I was just about to give up on the Internet… LaJeana and I chatted for a good while, then we got on the phone for a while talking  (by the way, LaJeana is from Tuscaloosa). We finally met at the Winn Dixie grocery store there in Tuscaloosa . The very moment I saw her, what my Paw Paw told me rang true after 50 years of life. My Paw Paw told me as a kid that when I find the person made for only me, I would know it in an instant. And sure enough my stomach had this strange feeling about it and a very strong desire to hold her in my arms (I didn’t get to hold her in my arms right away). But before the day was over I did give her as she calls it, a peck on the cheek as I was ready to leave Tuscaloosa . We have been either in Tuscaloosa or here in Uriah every weekend since then.

She truly is the love of my entire life. I’ m trying to make this as short and to the point as possible without leaving out any of the good parts. I want to thank you guys for being the place I’ve met my soul-mate after all these years of searching. Apparently I just didn’t know where to look for her. The Internet is a very powerful tool to use in today’s fast paced world we all live in. I would have never met the most wonderful lady I’ve ever known. At the start of this I said, “What comes around goes around.” What I mean by that is that I did something in good faith for people I won’t ever know in Tuscaloosa, and now look what the city of Tuscaloosa gave me back in return. The most beautiful person that has ever held my hand and told me she loved me without any conditions put on that love . This to me is worth more than all the relief efforts that I or anyone else could have taken and received a blessing.  Once again, thanks a million, Are You Interested.

Hi! I’m LaJeana. I never thought I would ever do online dating, but I found myself single and I don’t care too much for bars and the night life. I found Are You Interested because a friend on Facebook invited me. George winked at me first. I had been on Are You Interested for about 2 weeks. I quickly found that by using Are You Interested, I could ask questions without feeling the stress of talking to someone face to face (George has often said sometimes he felt as though he was involved in a job interview. LOL ). But I was able to learn a lot about him. I had already run into my share of guys that were immediately in love with me. Through chatting I learned George is very intelligent, and quite the writer. After weeks of chatting, we started texting then moved on to talking on the phone. We have saved all of our Facebook messages and emails (that we could).

He is truly my best friend. We can talk about anything! I have never been so close to anyone. I truly believe that I have finally found the love of my life also. He is everything I ever wanted in a man. It’s so much easier to date someone you’ve already gotten to know and KNOW you like, so falling in love with George just came natural. I feel so strongly and sure of our relationship that I quit my job of 13 years and moved to Uriah so I could be with George every day. There is so much more to our story that I would like to tell but am trying to keep this as brief as possible…  like how our first meeting almost didn’t happen because everyone’s cell phones were dead and he was 5 hours late. I was upset (to say the least) and about ready to call it off, but he had bought me a T-shirt and used it as a bargaining chip! We have been together ever since. Thanks again, Are You Interested!!!!!!!!

Beth & Dan

Here’s our fairytale romance, because when I look back on it, it all seems too good to be true. I clicked yes on Dan first. And he sent me a message back and we talked back and forth on the are you interested messages for awhile. Then we became Facebook friends and MSN messenger. Talking every few days turned into every night until the early hours of the morning. We swapped phone numbers and started calling each other every night and webcaming. He was just so amazing I decided after 4 months of talking that I NEEDED to meet him. The problem was I live in Wisconsin and he lives in Pennsylvania. So I made the decision one night that I was going to drive out there to meet Dan. He planned a 5 day weekend for us in Ocean City, Maryland, and took me to see the ocean for the first time in my life. The beach picture is from that first weekend. :) It truly was love at first sight. We’ve been together ever since that weekend and see each other about once a month taking turns with who goes where. And now in one month I will be moving to live with him in Pennsylvania. Our love has survived the distance and now I feel it’s time to be where my heart is. With him :) So that’s our story in a nutshell. Thanks for listening and most of all THANK YOU for connecting us on a Facebook application. I never would have thought when I clicked yes on the handsomest man I’d ever seen that this is where it would take me!

An update from Beth!

I moved to  live with Dan in December 2009 and we found out that I was pregnant in July of 2010. We were thrilled to find out it was a girl and I had a pretty pleasant pregnancy. Avery was born on March 17, 2011. She weighed 7lbs 1oz, was 19 inches long and the most perfect, beautiful girl in the world. She’s got her Daddy’s hair color and Mommy’s dimples. She brings immense joy to our every day! I think becoming parents has made our relationship and bond stronger and we couldn’t love our little family more!

Jon & Amanda
We would love to share our success story! First, my name is Jon Hall and my wife’s name is Amanda. In May of 2008, we were each others first contact through Are You Interested; we both clicked “yes” and the application made us aware, so we began to message back and forth. I lived on the other side of Phoenix, about 45 minutes away, so I doubt we would have ever run into each other had it not been for AYI. We immediately felt comfortable with each other and after a week we decided to go on our first date. I spoke to Mandy for the first time as I was driving to pick her up. That evening we went to a small restaurant on her side of town and enjoyed great conversation in an intimate atmosphere. Over the next couple weeks we went on several other dates and were soon exclusive with each other.

In September of ’08 we moved in together and soon after knew we were meant for one another. I proposed to Mandy on her 23rd birthday, at the top of South Mountain, eight months after we met. She immediately began planning our wedding for November of 2009. We were lucky enough to acquire a home the same week we were married and felt our lives together were getting off to a great start. Soon we began planning the beginning of our family and found out we were expecting in May of 2010. Our son Aiden Alex was born January 31st of this year and has so far brought immense joy to our lives. Any time we are asked how we met we usually chuckle and say “Facebook.” People are amazed when we tell them the luck we had with a simple dating application and the change it brought to our lives. Without Facebook or AYI there would be no “us” and we are truly thankful that is not the case.

I have attached some photos of our first date, the proposal, our first dance, and Aiden.

Bronwyn & Andrew

Andrew and I had started chatting in early January 2011. He ‘Liked’ me first and I couldn’t help but “like” those gorgeous eyes of his, that deep confidence and charming personality. So we decided to add each other to Facebook and chatted there every free moment, everyday. He lived about 40 minutes away from me, and we tried twice to meet up, but other plans always came up and had to reschedule. Yet we still chatted. One day we finally agreed to have coffee and go for a walk along the beach. Andrew shows up in summer clothes and flip flops. I couldn’t help but giggle because he was insistent that he wanted to walk and I told him it was like a 4km walk one way, but he still wanted to. We walked fine to the coffee shop, chatting non-stop all the way there. As we leave, he admits that he has now gotten blisters from his shoes, so we walk back another 4km’s and he is bare foot. What some men will do for woman.

We had some coffee as soon as we got to my place and he went home. There was no awkwardness or moments of deathly silence. We met up the next day, and he took me to sushi! Our favorite meal. He arrived at my place and I was so nervous… it was truly awkward. So I suggested we just leave for the restaurant – we didn’t seem at unease at all. And off we went. We sat to eat all you can eat sushi for 3 hours, chatting and laughing . Eventually I was wondering when I would get the chance to kiss those gorgeous lips, so as I leaned in he turned his head and we kissed… I felt like a 16 year old again. Later we got home and we watched a movie before he left for home again. He made plans to see me at least 4 nights during the week and all weekends until we decided that we would like to start dating each other. He asked me out on February 2nd. Thereafter it’s been a constant busy and fun experience, going for walks on the beach, having our weekly “Date Nights’ of movies, bubble baths and wine and popcorn… just laying in each others’ arms doing or saying nothing and feeling like you are in the most perfect spot in the world.

Andrew and I are most definitely like best friends. The transition from him moving into my place was done with ease and fun. He is like me, and I am like him. There’s nothing more wonderful than being with a person just like you. Life is easy! We both want the same thing. We would both love to go to Paris and get engaged at the end of the year and get married, but for the next few months, we are taking the time to enjoy this part of dating.

Sometimes in life, you just know when you have found someone who compliments your personality so well, and you don’t ever take it for granted. We both highly suggest AYI to our single friends, and all of them are new members. Thank you for giving us the chance to meet our soul mate and to live a perfectly complete life! Are You Interested rocks!

Cass & Dave

Hello! I just wanted to say thank you to your website Are You interested on Facebook. Two years ago I was contacted by a guy who had wanted to meet new people. He had only sent the message to me and another girl. The other girl didn’t write back so I was the lucky one that went out with this guy. It was love at first sight we started dating and after a year got engaged and then we found out we were having a baby. Now we are married with a beautiful little girl and we just wanted to say thank you so very much. You really have brought together people. So good work keep it up. We would never have met if it was not for your website. Thanks – Cass

Dia & Ralph

Hi, I am writing to share our own success story which happened here in Are You Interested. I had been using your application for quite some time and I did get lots of YES on my profile and messages along with it. One day, just as I was browsing the people who showed interest in me, my attention lingered on one mail from this guy who looked like the Hollywood actor Benjamin Bratt. His message was nothing out of the ordinary, but there was just something about him that caught my attention.I replied to his message and then we added each other as friends afterwards. We used Facebook as our primary means of communication. Because I live in the Philippines and he was from New York, the time difference kind of made it hard for us to stay “together” online most of the times. We then decided to set up a schedule so we know when to log on. I gave him my mobile number so we could text each other about the schedule. However, he didn’t use it for texting; instead, he called me a matter of seconds after he got the number. Yes, he called me long distance from America!

The good thing about our set-up was that we opened our web cams 24/7. I was a writer and a massage therapist then, so I was mostly at home doing my writing job. Then Ralph decided one day that the long distance set up has to stop. He made a big decision in his life when he moved from the US to the Philippines, leaving his cozy apartment, his 2 cats and his American dream to be with me here. He now holds a Permanent Residency status and we’re going to be celebrating our First Year Anniversary as Mr. and Mrs. Ritoch on November 26. We got married just last year (November 26, 2009).

Thank you soooo much Are You Interested for bringing to me my soulmate, my best friend and husband. I can’t thank you enough!

Andrea & Lee

Lee winked at me first and I liked the look of him, so I winked back. We spoke for weeks on MSN and through Facebook emails. We then decided to meet our first date – it was at McDonald’s (lol). We have barely been apart since then. He’s the best thing to ever happen to me and he’ll always be special to me for giving me my gorgeous daughter.

Rachel & Cory

I would like to sincerely thank Are You Interested? for helping me meet my wonderful partner.   I was a little doubtful about being able to have a real love connection with someone I met online, due to some negative chat room experiences.  After having  Are You Interested? as an app on my Facebook for more than a year I decided to give it a shot.   I am glad that Are You Interested? proved me wrong.  Actually I got lucky because, believe it or not, Cory was the first and only person I contacted through Are You Interested?   In our first conversation he said that I seemed really sweet and I could tell that he really wanted to get to know me.  I am a shy person, but I felt like I could always be myself around him.  We had many long conversations and met about a month later.  Now, after more than a year, I feel like I finally have someone that I can share my life with.  Simply put… he fills my heart with happiness.  Thank you again Are You Interested? for being a part of our true love story!!

Inka & Gregor

Our story is that I was bored at home and single. I knew about the application AreYouInterested for a long time already. I started to look at guys (as I did many times before) and I told myself that I would read their profiles because I never did before. My boyfriend Gregor didn’t have a nice photo on his profile, but what interested me was his profile text. He wrote, “I am looking for a working girl.” It made me laugh. Who is this funny guy? I was really curious. His picture wasn’t so good, but his eyes had sparks of humor. I clicked Yes on him and for a long time, I didn’t receive an answer. I think after 3 weeks he wrote me, “Hi”. I had forgotten about him by that time, but I wrote him “Hi” back, and we started to speak on chat. I found him to be a good looking man. :)

Now I moved from Slovakia to Slovenia to live with him. We have a dog, Mufi, and cat, Nina, and we are planning our future together :) I never thought that I can find a guy through this application, but thank you for this opportunity :)

Andrew & Lynn

Last late November after I had my premium membership for 6 weeks or so I received a AreYouInterested gift from a woman hailing from Utah. Her name was Lynn. By that time, I was a little flustered throughout 2010, being online for a little more than six months with my success in finding a soul mate. I had been a member of a few various dating sites and totaled my achievements in my quest as very meager. One real date for a hundred dollars or so. Lynn and I corresponded for quite some time progressing from gifts, messages, Facebook, phone numbers, letters with pictures – then to special occasion cards and gifts (for example, Christmas). But the best special occasion gift Lynn received was seeing me at the Salt Lake City airport on her birthday. I had moved from my home town in Minnesota, of which I felt trapped in for many years, struggling with loneliness and just plain discontent. There are fine things about Minnesota, and had my years with the best of them. We immediately professed our intentions to each other and are going through decent adjustments, learning to share and care for one another.

Our personalities click very well together.. and I just thank such a cool web site for bringing us together. We are truly birds of a feather… and your dating site is very ingenious at its format through Facebook, because I have still one or two other friends from AreYouInterested as networking pals to this day. Sometimes not being able to add Facebook friends can be a problem. From AreYouInterested  I would estimate making twenty five to fourty friends at one time. Thank You Very Much. P.S. We are in the early stages of planning our marriage on July 9th, 2011.

Richard & Sylvia

Thank you for creating such a wonderful love site. I have met the woman of my dreams and we are so compatible that it is wonderful. I clicked that I was interested in Sylvia and she in return clicked that she also was interested. So we connected on Facebook and I saw a picture of her in her album. I complimented her on her shapely legs and she asked how did i know? I said I had just seen the picture and that I liked the package! We emailed for awhile and then she said she had to see me. At first, she was hesitant because I am disabled ..but she had seen how much I was truly attracted to her. She called me and said let’s do this .. and love was born. We are miles apart, but we are working it out. If things continue as lovely as they are, someday soon I hope to propose to her …and live happily for the rest of our days … she is just what i have been looking for all of my adult life. The best part is that our future is looking very promising. We are very eager to see where this great feeling that we have for each other leads us. Once again I just want to say thank you.

Victoria & Mark

My name is Victoria. I was on your site for only 3 months and I found my soulmate, Mark!! Actually, he found me after I deleted him several times. I finally answered his gifts – the best thing I had ever done. In three short weeks, Mark and I have found love, and someday will marry!!! I am very happy and Blessed. I want to thank you so very much!!! I found my soul mate when I thought I would never love again!!! Well, I mean Mark found me!!!

Kim & Mark

Mark and I met on AreYouInterested  about a while ago.  We spent many, many hours chatting online and then eventually by phone. We have now spent many, many hours together in person and have come to the realization that we are soulmates and are destined to be together. We had both tried other dating websites with no luck and somehow, both of us ended up giving AreYouInterested a shot and as they say “the rest is history”. We have fallen completely in love with each other and we hope everyone can find their soul mate here just as we did.  Thank you, AreYouInterested!

Shannon & Mack
I had noticed Mack’s profile on AreYouInterested and thought I would have a closer look. I had read through his profile and then looked him up on Facebook. After that, I added him as a Facebook friend and wanted to see if he would accept. After many emails back and forth, we exchanged numbers and spoke from then on for hours at a time. Now, we have been together 10 months today actually, and are looking foward to moving out together. We even got tattoos for each other. All thanks to AreYouInterested – I didn’t think I would get a best friend, partner and love from something I added just for fun. Thank you again!

Joanne & John
John added me on Facebook after he saw my profile on AreYouInterested last July. We got chatting through mail and officially got together in September. I have a son from a previous relationship. My son and John get on like a house on fire. I love John very much. It all feels like fate, especially how he won a competition two months into the relationship for seven nights in Orlando, Florida and twenty thousand euros. We are from Ireland living over two hundred kilometers apart, but we see each other every weekend. Thank you AreYouInterested! We’ll be heading to Orlando in August.

Mary & Duane

I met my boyfriend Duane on AreYouInterested on Dec. 13, 2010. I clicked Yes on him and he clicked back that he liked me! Then I added him to Facebook and that night, we started chatting on Facebook. I asked him if I could call him and we started talking on the phone 2 to 6 hours a day since he lives 2 hours from me. We decided to meet Dec. 24, 2010 and since he’s legally blind, I drove to his house and we spent Christmas weekend together. I went home Sunday, and Monday I went back up and got him. He spent a week with me and we brought in the new year together. The week he stayed with me, I had a death in the family and he was very supportive of me. Now we are talking about planning a future together. We just want to say thank you to AreYouInterested. If it wasn’t for your dating site we would have never met. Thanks again!

Update from Mary:

I would like to give you an update on Duane and I since we started talking a year ago today. In February 2011 I quit my job and moved 136 miles to start a new life with Duane. I got a great job up here that I love and in the next few weeks, we are going to start living together. Thank you AreYouInterested.com! If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have found the man I want to spend the rest of my life with!

Lucy & Matt

Matt and I met on AreYouInterested in January 2009. I had recently come out of a long term relationship and wasn’t looking for love, but my friend suggested I went on the site to make new friends and social groups. Incidentally she is marrying the man she met on AreYouInterested in April of next year!! Matt and I sent each other a few e-mails back and forth, then swapped numbers. We met up for the first time on 19th February, just as pals, nothing more and had a lovely evening that ended in a big juicy snog! By April we had moved in together. We married at Haynes Motor Museum, Sparkford (Matt’s a petrol head) on 28th August 2010 and honeymooned in Turkey. We are both very grateful to all at Are You Interested as our paths would not have crossed otherwise. I am more than happy for you to share our success story. Thank you again!!

Rebecca & Bradley

It was December of 2007, and I had the AreYouInterested? application for a few months, but I never really thought anything of it and rarely checked it. For some reason, I decided to get on quickly on Christmas Eve. To my surprise I had this very handsome boy named Brad from Georgia in my “likes me” folder. Immediately I clicked yes back. Being from Jersey I would never in a million years think anything would come from this “match”. But while staring at his picture I had this feeling inside of me that I HAD to message him. So I did. And there it began. It started out messaging back and forth every day, then months later texting every day, then months after that calling every day, then months after that video chatting every day. Until May 15th 2010, about 2 1/2 years of communicating from 812 miles apart, we met for the first time. This boy is the love of my life and I am going to marry him one day. He is my other half and my best friend despite being so far away from each other. We’ve been through some rough times together but if there’s one thing I learned, it’s that everything happens for a reason. Without the AreYouInterested? application I would of never met my soul mate and I wouldn’t be the person I am today. In a few months he is moving  and going to school 20 miles away from me, instead of 800. I could not be happier and I cannot wait to start our lives together.

Levi & Krista

I was just going through clicking on random girls because I was bored, not really expecting anything from it. Krista responded and we started sending messages back and forth online. In no time at all we had met and I knew there was something special about her. We had an instant bond like we had known each other our whole lives! I could not believe that I had found my soul mate without even really meaning to. We have now been engaged for 6 months and are soon to be married. We have been inseparable since the day we met and we both wanted to take the time to let everyone know that AreYouInterested? worked for us. If it had not been for AreYouInterested? my soul mate and I may have never found each other.

Magdalena

I joined AreYouInterested? in  February 2010 and was single for 18 months. I was 44 yrs old and really didn´t expect much to happen online. Two weeks later, this guy sent me a wink. We started to talk and few days later, we had a date. Today, five months later, we are so much in love, totally happy and planning to spend our lives together. The thing is, if not for AreYouInterested?, we probably would not have met at all. So thank you soooo much :)

Karin & Hesham

Our love story started in June 2008. I met Hesham at AreYouInterested? He sended me an message and I replied, but it took a while before we actually talked. But when we start talking it was like we already knew each other all our lives. It was not normal. We talked and talked about religion, culture, everything. He is from Egypt and is Muslim; I’m from Holland and am catholic, but for us, it’s not a problem. We always say we talk about everything and anything. If I had a question in my head all day, he gave me an answer to my question without me even asking the question. We always said how is it possible that two people who didn’t not know each other (we hadn’t met then) we know each other so well, when both speak a different language and the language that we both speak is not our own language.

We are both convinced that this was meant to be. We are so connected with each other that we can’t live without each other. Of course, we had our problems, but we will stay together no matter what cause, we know this love is forever. Now after 2 1/2 years we are still together, happily married, trying to have a child together, and trying to get a real life together in Holland (because he is still living in Egypt). This is not love – it’s more than that! I think I found my twin soul at AreYouInterested?

Mahmoud & Pernille

I met my match, Pernille, through the AreYouInterested? application. I clicked on her first and I sent her a message. She answered and she was so polite. We started talking to get to know each other better. Before a year passed, she came from Denmark and we met in Jordan on 25/6/2010. When I met her at airport, I couldn’t believe myself! She stayed with me for ten days. She is so sweet and kind. It was like heaven, non-stop fun and happiness. We are going to marry and live together soon in October when she moves here from Denmark. Her family is going to come and visit us in the spring. I’m Muslim and she is Christian, but that didn’t stop us because love knows no borders. I’ll do my best to make her happy. She is my little princess. Thank you, Are You Interested!

Anita & Bruce

Bruce was the first to click yes on me. Normally I would just click yes, but I also sent a message saying “Hi Bruce”. We first talked through messages on AreYouInterested?, then for a while on email and then webcam. I wanted to see his smile so I made a joke and oh GOSH, his smile is soooooo nice and handsome! We decided to become boyfriend and girlfriend on my birthday, and after that my life became happy. Bruce makes me smile, laugh, and I feel so in love since I met him. Time goes faster and we talk almost every day.  Even though we are far, we feel close to each other. One day he decided to visit me. We decided to meet in Singapore because Bruce flew from Boston and I am from Indonesia. Finally I met Bruce at Singapore on March 22nd, 2010. We spent one week together in Singapore and we got engaged! When it was time for us to go, we were so sad. I was so afraid he would leave me when he returned to his country, but he didn’t. We kept in touch and we had a serious talk about our relationship.

One day Bruce said “I have to come back to see you”. I think he is crazy for coming to Indonesia to see me twice in the same year! We decided to get married in Indonesia. July 15th, 2010 was the best day for us. Bruce and I want to say many thanks for AreYouInterested? because we would never have met. I just want to say that AreYouInterested? is the best page for dating – I was on other dating pages and they were useless. These are our photos from when we first met and of our wedding in Indonesia. Thanks for everything!

Christopher & Jill

Christopher and I met on AreYouInterested? on Facebook in October 2008.  Chris lived up near Middlesbrough and I live in West Yorkshire. Chris came down the first time by train and a few more times after that as well. We had been talking online and by telephone. We were getting on so well that the first meeting we had, it felt like we had known each other for years so we weren’t so nervous. I started then going up to Middlesbrough in the car after really getting to know each other and being comfortable in each other’s company. Love blossomed shortly afterwards. Chris moved down to Yorkshire to be with me, which I was really pleased about, as we can see each other most days now. He eventually proposed to me (down on one knee) a week before my birthday (after asking parents’ permission). And of course I said yes. That was back in September 2009. We are currently are looking for a place to live together in the near future.

We are most certainly more in love than ever. He is the best thing which has happened to me. Chris makes me so happy, words cannot describe how he makes me feel inside. He truly is one in a million and I do not know what I would do without him. He has been a rock for me through some bad times too. Thanks AreYouInterested? for the helping us find each other.

Maxine & Bobby

We would like to say a massive thank you to AreYouInterested? as we found love through the application in December 2009. Now, nine months later, we are planning our wedding in July 2012. We started chatting to each other and exchanged phone numbers. We kept on meeting and in March 2010, Bobby moved in with me and my three children from a previous relationship. We have been so happy and in love ever since. We were very lucky as I only lived in Oldham and Bobby lived in Bolton, so we didn’t have much distance between us. Our families are very happy for us as they have never seen us look so happy. My three children adore Bobby and love him to pieces. So once again, we both want to say a massive thank you to AreYouInterested? for helping us find each other.

Alex & Angela

Angela was the first one to send me a wink in early July 2009. The strange thing was that her profile picture at the time was not of her, but of an illustrated anime girl, and the only information said that she lived in Bogota, Colombia, which is a long, long way from my home in Brentwood, England, which is close to London. Despite the fact that I didn’t know what Angela looked like the time, and that she lived over five thousand miles away, something inside me told me that I had to say hello, I can’t even explain it. We started to exchanged a few messages on Are You Interested until we then became friends on Facebook. And that’s when I saw my angel for the first time. We then spoke a lot on msn, and eventually skype, although this was after some persuasion by Angela for me to get a webcam, as I was a lot more shy back then. After about 2 months I just knew I had to visit her. So in September 2009 I left England for Colombia, the furthest I had ever traveled alone. We had an incredible time together, and by the end of my 2 week stay, were both completely in love with each other. After I came back all we could think about was seeing each other again. We decided to get married in the new year. A few months later, I flew back out to see her and meet her family for Christmas and new years. While we were there, we planned the date for the wedding. The magical day would be June 19th 2010. It was a long six months until I saw my sweetheart again. But finally that day came, and now we couldn’t be happier. Soon Angela will be able to come and join me, and we will start the rest of lives together in the UK!

Kayleigh & Levi

I had been on AYI for about a year – I joined for a bit of fun but never really used it. I went from Ireland to Australia the beginning of last year for a working holiday and was a bit lonely so I started using AYI to meet new people. Levi clicked on me first and we got chatting. He is so good looking I was chuffed. We were talking on AYI, then on the phone and skype for a couple of weeks before he invited me to come up for a weekend to his home town. I went and after the weekend, we both didn’t want to leave each other so I stayed! He is now back home with me in Ireland, on a working holiday here and we are going back to Oz in Jan on a partner Visa – which AYI has helped me to get!

Ryan & Alexandra

Alexandra found me on Are You Interested? a month ago and we have been attached at the hip ever since.  We live about 2 hours away from eachother, but that doesn’t stop us from texting non-stop all day, every day.  Despite the distance between us, we’ve been on several dates and seem to get along great.   I couldn’t be more thankful that I gave Are You Interested? a try.

I’d love to say that it’s just a numbers game: date enough people and you’ll find the right one.  However, that just doesn’t seem to fit.  There is something special about Alex and I wish I’d met her years ago. Thank you, Are You Interested?

Craig & Elana

I was the first to wink at him virtually on “Are You Interested?”  He winked back.  I couldn’t believe someone as handsome as him was single and local.  We started sending each other gifts and messages.  It didn’t take us very long to agree that we needed to meet each other in person.  And so we met on June 19th, 2008 at Cold Stone Creamery.  We both were taken with each other by the magic of love when we met.  We arranged to meet again and ever since then, we couldn’t stay away from each other.  The way he popped the big question was a fairy tale.  He never ceases to surprise me.  He told me that he had to go to this ceremony up in Phoenix where the state was going to present him with an award for his excellence in the field of education.  When he pulled up to the Holiday Inn Express, I didn’t think anything was unusual.  He returned to the car however a few minutes later with a huge smile on his face, saying forget it- we weren’t going to stay there.  He then drove us to the Hyatt.  We checked in to a gorgeous room and he told me that I better get ready for a fancy dinner.  Dressed to kill, we went to dinner at a phenomenal ritzy restaurant.  We ate an incredible dinner and then he said we should get going.  I was somewhat puzzled by his planning of this extremely fabulous night and he had not yet popped the question.  Disappointed, I followed him out the door.  .  .to a horse-drawn carriage.  It was on that beatiful moonlit ride through Scottsdale that he pulled a box from his jacket and asked me to marry him.  Of course I said yes and kissed him.  He was the man of my dreams.  I couldn’t stop exclaiming while holding up and flashing the ring  to complete strangers, “I said yes!”

We’ve been married since October 17th of 2009 and not a day goes by that we haven’t said “I love you.”  I keep wondering how insanely in love I’ll be with him by the time we’re grandparents.  It seems like I love him a little more every day.  I know that God arranged our meeting via “Are You Interested?”  We are way too perfect for each other and so created for each other that God is the only explanation.  Our meeting was not by chance.  I can honestly say that it was an arranged marriage.

Sarah & Larry

Funny story. I joined Are You Interested in January 2010. I joined just for fun; not expecting to actually meet anyone. I met a guy named Larry from Orlando, Florida (I am from Barrie ON, CA) and we began to talk. He came to visit me the second week of May from Florida and we hit it off! Long story short, we are now in a serious relationship and he is the love of my life. I am going to Florida the first week of August and I could not be happier. Thanks Are You Interested!

Venita & Dean

All I can say is I have never been on a website like this, and when I saw Dean for the the first time I fell in love with him. He feels exactly the same and we are already planning our wedding. I was on Facebook and my status said that I was single. On the side of my screen, Are You Interested came up; I was very interested as I started looking into your website. I was flicking through each one of the guys and then I saw Dean…Wow I was struck by something! My heart started racing and I could not wait to get in contact with him… I can’t remember how many times we tried to talk to each other in that period, but I know that it was a lot. We started to talk on Facebook because we got each other’s details now. And it was not even a week that went past when we arranged for our first date. He came all the way from his city to visit me, and we just hit it off from the start!  We just get along perfectly. We both love  going to the gym, shopping, traveling, family… the list just go on and on. We believe that respect and love are the two key things that make a relationship work. We, as partners, come first before anything else, and that sets a good example for our kids and others. Thank you again for your help in finding my knight in armour. So thank you again!

Matthew & Erin

In late 2008 I was just getting home from work and was quickly just going through some Facebook messages and had made my way to your application. I had went through a couple of pictures and short profiles until I had came to Erin. She was beautiful and had all the qualities of a girl that I was looking for. How surprised was I to find that when I clicked “yes” that she had felt the same way and the system had already sent emails to both of us. A couple hours later we had exchanged a few emails back and forth which led to an Instant Message conversation. We stayed in contact for the next few days emailing and IM’ing whenever we had a moment. After a few weeks it became apparent that we were very compatible as the emotional feelings continued to grow. Fast forward another couple of months, and I took a plane out to see her for the first time. She was living in North Dakota and I was in Virginia so this was something that we had looked forward to. Needless to say, meeting her was the icing on the cake and a couple months later she took the trip out to see me in Virginia.

We continued to have a long distance relationship for about a year with both of us flying back and forth every few weeks. After a short time and passing the one year mark, we both made the decision that she would come and move in with me in Virginia and she would continue her work as a Radio Personality and Voice Over actress on the east coast.

That brings us to where we are now. We have been living together for almost a year now and everything is going great and our love for each other grows as each day passes. Who would have thought a couple of seconds of time on a Facebook app would provide a lifetime of happiness and love. As the days pass we talk about mariage and know that one day we will make that happen. To the folks who designed that application, please accept my sincere thank you on behalf of Erin and myself. It’s great to know that we aren’t the only ones that your application has helped and worked out for.

Kathy & Yoni

I first heard of AreYou Interested? from a friend of mine who recently moved to Israel from South Africa. In a short period of time, I knew more people than I did in Tel Aviv just from Facebook. I got curious and decided to give it a go, but I didn’t actually go out on a date with  any of the guys who I met or chatted with on Are You Interested? I don’t know why, but I had a really good feeling when I first looked at Yoni’s profile (maybe because I love big guys). We had our first, most romantic date just sitting on the beach, and he taught me about the stars and how to find the north star at night. The funny thing is that he had just got out of a long term relationship of five years and really wasn’t looking for anything serious. As we all know, this didn’t exactly turn out the way he expected.

And the rest is history. I think we both knew in the very beginning that this is the real thing!

Angelia & Jason

My days on Are you interested? began around fall 2007, after my divorce. I was especially nice some days, and friendly. I clicked yes on everyone. Some days I clicked no on everyone. Rather harshly I might add. Two time divorcee, it’s an ugly place to be and I’ll freely admit. So Jason’s picture comes along, somewhere around Spring 2008. I was extra happy that day. I see this.

You know what I really see? A smiling person. Now he could be 300lbs, super hairy, wearing a pocket protector in the rest of that picture, but he was smiling. My ex #2 NEVER smiled in pics. He was Italian mobster cool, handsome, a tough guy, who would show no emotion. I clicked YES on Jason’s beaming smile. Who cared about the rest?

I don’t know if I added him as a friend, or he added me. Back then you couldn’t comment on status updates like you do now. You had to send a message and there was no chat. Friending someone was more of way of saying, I’d like to get to know you better. We played games; wrestling, scrabble, friends for sale and (lil) green patch. We’d send Starbucks, hearts, and play quizzes. You get the idea. Banter, fun and frolic. Obviously Jason and I eventually met…I would have never met so many great people had I not reached across cyber space and added them as friends. Like Jason. My love. My light. My incredible partner, supporter, and dear, dear friend… It paid off in the greatest reward of all. My future husband. Think about that.

Be patient. Be open. You might meet someone that changes your life. Or maybe, you yourself, might change someone’s life. Jason, thank you for smiling your way into my interested heart. I am interested. I am so interested. Interested in our life now, and interested in our future life. Oh, how I adore you. I am so glad you stopped to chat on my front porch. I am so glad I wasn’t afraid to share, who I was with you, and the online world. What I would have missed.

Antoinette & Johan

My name is Antoinette. I’ve been living in South Africa. I have been divorced for 10 years and started using Are You Interested? about 20 months ago. I clicked YES on many men and found numerous friends all over the world. I had been traveling between Durban and Johannesburg on a regular basis for my sport. After clicking YES on Johan and communicating online on a regular basis, we then decided to meet in person the next time I traveled to Johannesburg. Our first date was 26 October 2009 at a restaurant. From the first moment we met each other, we knew we were meant to be together. It was almost love at first sight. Sadly, Johan had lost his wife in early 2009 after being paralyzed following an accident. He explained that the first time he registered on Are You Interested? he saw my photo and clicked YES… and the rest is history.

Our love for each other is so special. We decided to celebrate our love for each other on my 50th Birthday (27 March 2010). A Commitment Ceremony to exchange our love vows and rings are planned for this day of Celebration. We could not ask for a better time for meeting each other when we needed someone in our lives so badly…. We are very happy together and to have found love again.

Life is so short and we will live life and love each other every minute of the day…

Commitment Ceremony Rings

Marc & Debbie

On the 26th of July 2010, it will be our 2 year anniversary. About 2 years ago, I was sitting in my apartment, having just come back from a film shoot, working on a commercial. I was touching base with a few of my friends on Facebook when a pop up appeared. It was from a friend urging me to look at the sexy girls on Are You Interested. I have always been skeptical about dating sites, but thought that I had nothing to lose, plus I was on a 2 day break from work and was due to return to Namibia for another movie called Prisoner. I registered myself and opened a profile of myself and started surfing all the faces. All of a sudden a girl sent me a flirt. I didn’t think girls would do such things, I thought only guys would be bold enough to take the first step, but nonetheless, here was a girl sending me a flirt. It said: “You can come stay in my heart rent free”. I called a friend of mine who is an expert, for advice, and who only dates girls from dating sites. He asked me what I thought to be my next move. I said my reply would be: “Where does she stay?”. My friend said that that would be a bad idea and that I should rather suggest to meet at a coffee shop instead of my or her apartment because she could be a psycho and I wouldn’t want a stalker on my hands. So, we made arrangements to meet at a coffee shop half way between her house and mine. When I got to the coffee shop, I looked for the girl’s face that was imbedded on my mind from her profile picture. She was sitting by herself, enjoying a latte. I introduced myself, ordered a latte for myself and we started chatting. This “chatting” is still going on today, almost 2 years later. It is amazing how utilizing an application like Are You Interested, to find the perfect match for yourself can better one’s life 10 fold. I am not one to look at girls on dating sites. I have done it once before and had a bad experience… Debbie, my girlfriend had a similar experience and also steered clear of these sites. She gave it one last attempt when she went onto Are You Interested and found me. I plan to propose to her within this year. We have spoken about marriage often lately and look forward to spending the rest of my life with her.

I would like to thank Are You Interested for making your application available. Without you, I would not be with Debbie.

Crystale & Nicholas

First of all, we would like to say Thank You! to Facebook and Are You Interested?.

Crystale: I was roaming on Facebook back in 2007 when I came across Are You Interested? I always thought dating sites were a joke… I made a lot of friends and a lot of mistakes. So, I stopped going to it. Almost two years later, I came back on. Nici had clicked yes on me first. When I first saw his picture the first thing that came to mine was ‘What a geek and a goofball.’ I veiwed his profile and saw we a lot in common. We started talking and it was like he knew what to say. He made me laugh which was a major plus! One day he messaged me and I thought he was too amazing and I had mentioned how I’m always the best friend and never the girlfriend. To my surprise the last thing he said on Are You Interested? was “You don’t always have to be the best friend ;) ” We added each other on Facebook and Myspace. Then we started calling and texting. He was on his way to see me… He came to me in November of 2009 the night before his birthday (: I always made jokes of ‘love at first site’ but dang skippy is that what happened. We are engaged. We aren’t the only ones who see that true love exists. Everyone around us family, friends even people we don’t know look at us and smile and it’s always something along the lines of “You two are the perfect couple. You’re so happy and full of life together. True love does exist with you two.” I’m so happy. He’s my forever. 143, forever and ever babe!

Nicholas: Look at that woman. She is so beautiful. What did I do to deserve this wonderful and lovely lady? She is so funny, caring, loving, cute, amazing, my world, my baby girl, my forever. Basically, she’s my everything. I wasn’t living until we were wrapped in each others arms. Ever since our first kiss on November 7th 2009, every kiss since then has had 8lbs of C4 bombs going off. They’re better than fireworks! That’s my reason for living right there. She made me a better person. Pushes me, helps me, guides me.. loves me; And I love her so very, very much. Thank you again. For helping me find my forever. 143, forever and ever baby girl.

Stacey & Nick

Hi, my name is Stacey and I did find love on Are You Interested? All I remember is that I had seen Nick on my Buzz list and thought he was really cute. I think I sent him a wink and I got a wink back. We talked back and forth for a bit and then lost contact. A few months later, I went back and he was still there on my page.  So I sent him a message saying “Hi stranger” and he replied back. We chatted back and forth for a while on MSN for a few weeks or so. Then we exchanged cell phone numbers so that we could text back and forth. Then about a week or so later, he asks if he can call me and of course I said yes. A few weeks after that, Nick wanted to meet up for coffee and I said yes. He lives in Brampton and I live in Chatham, so its about a three hours drive. Our first coffee date was a little scary since I didn’t really know him besides talking on the phone. The thing that really attracted him to me was my giggle and to this day he still loves it. Our first coffee date was on October 31st 2009. After five weeks of dating, he gave me five roses, which meant one rose per week for those five weeks. He is the most amazing man that has come into my life. I’m very excited to have our first Christmas together. We have talked about our future together and there will be wedding bells. I just recently told him that I loved him and he told me that he loves me too. He’s the love of my life and I want to grow old together with him… so thank you guys for making this happen.

Becca & Matt

On May 6 or 7, 2009, Matt clicked yes on me and I returned the favour. It was in french, which I am not exactly fluent in, but I managed to fabricate a response with the broken french I do know (to find out he was pretty rusty himself! haha). It quickly turned into texting and chatting over msn, there was already a sincere and intense connection between us that I’d never felt before. He asked if I could phone him so he could hear my voice, and we were on webcam with each other as we talked until about 5-5:30 in the morning. Poor guy had work a couple hours later haha!

I decided after that night that I would drive to Calgary, an hour and a half away from where I was living, to spend the night with him and meet him in person. The saturday after we met on Are You Interested on Facebook, I drove out to visit him and meet him. He was the same down-to-earth and great guy I spoke to on the phone, but it was much better to be with him in person. Since then, we haven’t spent more than a couple of nights apart. My job was flexible, so I was practically living with him right from the get-go. We couldn’t bear to not be with one another!

In the end of June we started looking for an apartment in Calgary to rent together, but it definitely didn’t work out as planned haha. My dad offered Matt a job in his company so that he could move here instead of me moving there, and so that we could buy a house for cheaper than it would have cost us for rent! In the end of July our deal was completed and we bought a cozy little split-level with 3 bedrooms, moved in August 1. Now, marriage is in serious discussion, and there’s a little one on the way.

Thanks to Are You Interested for helping me find my soul mate, and begin a perfect little family of my own. I have never been happier, or in a healthier relationship. And to think, I was only using the application because I wasn’t looking for a serious relationship.

Stephanie & Ryan

Hi! My name is Stephanie and I met Ryan on Are You Interested over a year ago. We got to talking and really liked each other. We lived in Nevada and Arizona, but our conversations were great! We ended up having a real connection even though he was in the military and I had a steady job. Finally we took the dating plunge a few months later. We started dating and got married! Over a year ago! We’re so happy and just wanted to say thanks so much! If it hadn’t been for this app we never would have talked!

Tammy

I just wanted to say a huge thank you. Back in December of 2007, I added this app after breaking up with my boyfriend. It took a while, but my sister finally convinced me to join Facebook. I had seen another person have the Are You Interested? application and decided to give it a whirl. I enjoyed looking through the photos and made friends with quite a few of the people that I clicked “yes” on. Then in December, I came across a picture of a man in a tux. He looked so sweet I had to click yes. It turns out he liked my profile pic as well and he clicked yes back and we became friends. On December 28th, I got a message from him that simply said “I hope we can chat sometime.” Shortly after that, we happened to be on at the same time and started chatting. Next thing I know it was hours at a time. We met for the first time in January 2008 and began dating. By June 2008 we were engaged, and in August he moved the 3 hours to live with me. We were married June 27th, 2009. We had a wonderful week long honeymoon in Hawaii and are now enjoying sharing our lives together. We are planning to buy a home next year and maybe a family. We are just so happy that it was so easy for us to find each other. Without Are You Interested?, there would have been no way we would have met. Thank you again for introducing me to my other half. We couldn’t be happier to have found the one… who knew it would be on Facebook?

Jasmie

THANK YOU! My boyfriend and I met on Are You Interested? on Facebook. We winked at each other and then sent gifts. We exchanged numbers,  however he lived in TN and I lived in TX. That’s a day’s drive away… We talked and text a few times and eventually just stopped. Then one day out of the blue, he was online at the same time and sent me a gift on Are You Interested! I sent one back and we started talking on the application. I suggested we talk further on instant messenger and after a couple months of web cam chat and hours of phone conversations, he came down to live with me! Long story short, we now have a beautiful baby boy who was named after him and we are very happy! THANK YOU!!!

Mark & Brenda

Mark and I met online on are you interested on August 10 last year. He lived in Kitchener Ontario, and I was living in Kelowna B.C. at the time.  He contacted me and I responded we talked online everyday for months when we met up in Vancouver B.C. which i flew him to come meet me.  I spent the whole week with him at Christmas time. We fell totally in love I guess, and he asked me to move out to Ontario and I did in April of this year and have been together ever since, and a week after I got here, he took me to dinner and when the waitress came to the table she had plate with a ring box on it.. well he proposed and I said yes… we plan on getting married in August .. our anniversary when we first met through Are You Interested.  He is the best man I ever met in my whole life, he is a libra and I am an aquarius, we get along really well… and I don’t regret moving all across Canada to be with him.  It only  took me 36 years to find my soul mate and he was all the way across the contenant.. Thanks to you I can spend the rest of my life with the man of my dreams.  I am truly deeply in Love with Mark and Never would have found him without your help.  :)

Andrea & Brendan

Hiya. I’m Andrea. Brendan clicked on me in August 08. I clicked straight back, after a few winks and mails we added each other as friends and did some serious flirting. Eventually swapped numbers and agreed to meet. The problem was I live in Tenerife and he lives in Newcastle…. mmmm.  So we met half way in Malaga. And WOW the rest is history, Soul mates i think is the best way to describe it. We meet every 5 weeks going to and fro to each others place. Just got back from a lovely holiday together where he PROPOSED!!!! and i said YES.

Thanx AYI  i have met my future husband.  Now the only problem is who moves where and when???

November 2009 update: Thank you everyone for the supportive comments. Just to update you all, I MADE THE MOVE. Luckily I work for a global company and was able to transfer to the UK very easily. I still live 200 miles from Brendan, but we now see each other every weekend instead of every 5 weeks. Things are going great… he is now planning on making the move to me sometime soon. Good luck everyone.

Charlonia & Glenn

I had been on online dating since Feb. of 2009.  I had not only been on Are You Interested? but several others also.  I was about to give up hope when in Sept. of ’09, I got a flirt from this very handsome gentleman.  I thought maybe just one more time.  We started chatting and saw that we had very much in common.  I was widowed 7 years ago and Glenn was widowed almost 8 years ago.  He only lived 120 miles from me. He said that when he first saw me that it was love at first sight.  We both love to travel so we have planned a couple of road trips this year.  Thanks to Are You Interested? for getting us together.

Yvonne & Mark

Mark:  “In September of this year, I was single with no interest in meeting a woman. One month later, I was madly in love. I heard about “Are You Interested” from a friend and debated even checking it out. Boy, am I glad I did. The first day I was on, I saw Yvonne’s profile and was totally taken by her. We started e-mailing back and forth, which led to chatting and then phone calls. After a few weeks, I hopped in the car to make the 4 ? hour drive and haven’t looked back. Thanks to “Are You Interested”, I’ve met the woman that I plan to spend the rest of my life with. How great is that!!! She is a wonderful, kind, funny, strong, SEXY woman. She has raised great kids and I can’t wait to get to know them better. Thanks to Yvonne I, once again, consider myself the luckiest person on the planet. P.S. Did I mention how sexy she is?”

Yvonne: “I never thought I would fall for someone 500 kilometers away, but it has happened. I’ve met the most selfless, loving & caring man, ready and willing to committed relationship. Not only does he take interest in me in building our relationship, but is very respective and concerned on how my children feel as well. Most of all, he’s considerate of my kids – it’s not only about us.”

Randy and Donna

You guys are amazing! I met the man of my dreams here, OMG! he is so amazing. We met in February and hit it off right away and we have been talking everyday ever since. We have come so far since we met that now we are thinking alike. He told me that he loves me and it has skyrocketed from there.  We are meeting for the first time in August and I am planning on moving to his state so we never have to be away from each other.  We even have our song picked out, which we both listen to when we talk, and we send each other other songs to show our love for each other.  Randy is the most loving, caring and considerate man I have ever met.  I would never have met him if it was not for you all at AYI. So thank you for making both of our dreams come true.  I love you guys!!!

Cindy & Blain

I meet my husband on Are You Interested. It was 2 years in March. We both selected yes for eachother, then I added him as a friend. We messaged a bit on Facebook, then MSN, texting, then the phone. We decided to meet on April 19, 2008. I think we both were in love with each other’s personality before we met… and once we met, we could not be separated. Blain moved to the city where I lived and four months later, he asked me to marry him. We wed on October 10, 2009 and are very happy. He is my best friend… Two weeks from today, we will own our first home together…

Thank you, Are You Interested, for finding me my best friend for life.

Darren & Raelene

We met by clicking on each other back in August 2008. We clicked a few times so it’s unclear who clicked on who first! We started sending messages to each other, both a bit wary to start with as both had previous yuck relationships. We eventually started messaging on Facebook, then added each other to our pages…..messaging and on chat. Then we started to msn each other as it was quicker, then went to texts and phone calls. We were always talking in one form or another constantly. So we decided to meet up in Cambridge on fireworks night and that was it. If we weren’t at work, we were together pretty much, difficult as both working different shift patterns. I moved to his country and left everything to be with him in January 2009 and the rest is history. We’re planning on a house and family and a longterm future. I’ve met my equal and the love of my life….and in his words, “We’re a perfect fit”.

Sadie & Kevin

I would just like to say a huge thank you to your site, because if not for you I would never have met my husband & I wouldn’t have had my daughter.

My dad passed away December 2007. I never thought I would ever get over that. Then on May 30, 2008, I went into work log onto my computer. I just couldn’t be bothered with anything that day until I found that I had an email from Are You Interested? It was Kevin, my husband – he was in Afghanistan. As soon as I read his email, I knew I was going to marry him. I just fell in love with him straight away, we kept in touch untill he came home to Manchester in July. From that day since we were inseparable. We didn’t leave each other’s side until I had to drive him to the train station two weeks later since he had to be back in Afghanistan & was only home on RnR.

My head was in bits, not knowing if I would ever seee him again. He came home in September 08… we talked about children, getting married etc. We went on holiday in October 2008. We had our little girl on August 2, 2009 & decided to get married on my late dad’s birthday, November 17, 2009. I love him, everything about him. He’s wonderful in every way. He’s my soulmate.

I would just like to say a big thank you, from the bottom of my heart for getting us together. You have changed my life for the better and I have never been happier. :o )

Ronnie & Colleen

Thank you! I found someone on your website and I am very happy with her. Her name is Collen and she is what I have dreamed of … Thank you for everything. After being on many web sites, yours is AWESOME and inexpensive enough for anyone to find their soul mate!! You guys ROCK!!! I will always recommend you to all my friends!!! Take care!!

Colleen & Kevin

I would like to say thank you to Are You Interested? I too met the man of my dreams in May 2009. He clicked “YES” on me and it has been wonderful ever since. We have been able to build a wonderful  relationship and plan on getting married… Yes he purposed and gave me a ring. Kevin is a tattoo artist and he is getting the “YES” box tattooed on  his wrist so we will always remember how we met. I have tried many different sites and I knew my soul mate was out there… just glad he was on yours! Anything is possible for every one. Thanks again! In Love, forever… Colleen & Kevin

Mandy & Mark

Mark: Out of all the millions of ladies on there, what’s the odds of me clicking YES on Mandy’s singular picture & her clicking YES on me. That’s a one in a multi-million chance. Then, the odds stack up even further by the fact I actually decided to “Poke” her (on Facebook) & she poked back. The odds are now colossal, as out of all the millions upon millions of people using Facebook, I sent a message to Mandy & she responded.  Since then, we finally met & to be honest, I pretty much knew she was something special the 1st time saw her. We met again & again till we fell in love. We’ve been together ever since. Honestly, its been the best 19 months of my life. All from just a simple click on the YES button on the best application ever. Thanks to the Are You Interested team, the rest of my life will be absolutely fantastic. Many thanks, Mark.

Mandy: Hi, I thought I’d update you on what’s been happening. I can’t believe how my life has changed from something I thought was ‘just a bit of fun’. Mark and I have been together one year and seven months now and it’s going amazingly well, we’ve had some fantastic times and made some wonderful memories and we have lots of plans for our future together and are both very, very happy, thank you so much! Mandy.

Stefano & Anne

Last year, Stefano sent me an friendship request here on Are You Interested? I clicked yes on him because he had the same hobbies like I have. After two months he visited me in Germany and then I went to Italy to see him. In Christmastime I had another visit from him, and this year in March I moved to Italy. My life is so fantastic now… I am so happy that I took this step. Now we have our first Christmastime together. Thanks to the inventors of Are You Interested, because otherwise we would not have met.

Ron

I met the man of my dreams on Are You Interested? The day was may 30th of 08. I had just gotten up in the morning and was getting ready for the day and work and decided to go on facebook to are you interested and check my mail. And there he was. He had clicked yes on my profile and sent me a message to my inbox, saying that he was interested in me. I went and checked out his profile and was very interested and replyed right away to his message and told him that i was interested in as well. We sent many messages back and forth until it was time for me to leave for work. All day my thoughts were on this man that I  had met and couldn’t wait to get home from work to chat with him again. As soon as i got home, I went online and started chatting with him again. Soon we were talking on the phone and decide that we for sure wanted to meet. We made plans to meet the following weekend, as we lived in different towns. The following weekned came way too slow but finally arrived. From the first moment we met I knew that he was the one. After that first weekned we spent many more together and then decided to move in together. So we did and we had eight awesome months together, both falling in love. But we hit a road block. He got scared and we decided to split up. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. So I moved away. I was very angry and hurt at first, but then i decided that if i couldn’t be with him, I would rather have him as a friend rather than nothing. So I called him one day and the friendship started again. Between calls and texts we began to grow closer then when we were together. We both dated other people during this time. But after about six months apart, we realized that we still loved each other and that there was no one else out there for us. So he asked me if I would be willing to give him a second chance. I am not the kind of person to give second chances, but with him it was different. So we have now gotten back together and our love is stronger and better then ever. So I owe it to Are You Interested? for finding the love of my life. Thank you.

Gary & Mike

Hi, I would like to say thank you to Facebook , I met my partner Mike through your site I met him on 31st August and I have seen him every weekend since we have booked a trip to New York for January. I travel from Weston Super Mare to Manchester ever other weekend and he comes to see me by train. We think the world of each other. Thanks, Gary

Rainer and Kimberley

I have to say a big THANK YOU to “Are You Interested” for introducing me to the man of my dreams. It was July 1st, 2008. Rainer clicked yes on my profile and i clicked yes back, after many “winks” and msgs to and from, we decided to add each other as friends on Facebook. This is where it all began. :)

Rainer lived in Brisbane and i lived in Newcastle almost 12-13 hours away by car… But only a few by plane…

We talked and talked and flirted till all hours of the morning till the point that we only had 1-2 hours to sleep before we had to get up for work. lol. We spoke online for at least 3 months then exchanged phone numbers, however one night in November, we both decided that we lived to far away from each other. My heart sank as i had fallen in love with this man although i had never met him before. From that moment on we rarely spoke but i never forgot him.. Then came December 31st at 8pm on New Years Eve.. Rainer had sent me a txt msg wishing me a happy new year, He also went on to tell me how much he missed talking to me… I was over the moon, I had got my best friend back.

We spoke over the phone for the next few months and decided that it was time that we met. I drove to the airport at 6.30pm on the 20/02/2009.  His plane got in at 7pm. I stood waiting, nervously, outside the gate, waiting for him to exit the plane. There he was…I saw him.. for the first time, my heart just melted and fluttered at the same time. The man i had spoken to all this time was finally here…. Rainer got off the plane and walked straight towards me

He had a big smile on his face, he came towards me and cuddled me, i cuddled him right back.. We kissed… For the few moments we kissed, it seemed like we were the only ones there at the airport and didn’t care who was around us. We couldn’t stop staring at each other the whole way home. We laughed, we talked, we touched, it was pure bliss… That night we stayed awake all night just talking. We smiled and held each other and kept saying we couldn’t believe we were in each others arms…. He stayed for the whole weekend. When the weekend was over we were both shattered. He had to leave. I took him to the airport and watched him check in.  We kissed for what seemed like hours before he boarded the plane… I watched his plane take off and waved as i said goodbye…

For the next few weeks, Rainer came to see me every weekend. One night i decided i wanted him to stay so i asked him to move in with me.. I was so happy when he said yes. So here we are coming up to our first year anniversary…. I have never been happier, We have never been happier.  Just last week Rainer asked me to marry him and of course ” i said yes”. We are currently planning our wedding and looking at moving to the sunshine coast.

Thank you so much for your application on Facebook… I truly believe that other people can find their soul mate or their future husband/wife through this application.  I owe our relationship to you guys, without you, I would never have found my fiance/future husband…  I recommend ”Are You Interested” to everyone because i often get asked “where did you guys meet?”   :)

To anyone reading this, Give it a go, you never know who you might meet and what your future holds…

Stephen & Mandy

I hadn’t long came out of a long term relationship, and was just idly looking around and sent the first message to this beautiful woman who is now my girlfriend. Those innocent words were “you look like the festival type…..this spawned a few months of endless chatter and never mind messages, we wrote full on epic novels to each other day in day out. What started as nice freindship blossomed as we both realized there were feelings involved that crossed the freindship barrier. We decided to act upon these and arranged to meet up, and sent each other video messages and exchanged a few phone calls. She sent me gifts through the post, and I ate the ones I was ment to send to her, oopps!! But she still liked me after my fat belly moment! Anyway we’ve now met, and she’s fantastic I never thought I’d meet a girl like her again in my life, we share the same zest for life and adventure and like doing the same thing. I’m the happiest I’ve been for a long time, already she’s more compatible than anyone else I’ve been involved with. I feel we’re now going to have a nice happy long future together. The more I see her and hear her voice the more these amazing feelings grow. I think she’s the ONE!! So thank’s Are you interested for giving me the opportunity to meet the girl of my dreams :) This ones for you Mandy X

Katie & Eric

Here’s my success story. I added the Facebook Application and thought nothing of it, until I found this guy Eric. We talked for a bit on there, then Facebook, and then we met at a mall that was close to both of us, turning out he only lived 40 minutes away. After that we decided to date and we’ve been together for over a year now :)

Laura & Greg

Greg clicked on me in September of 08. We started talking on here almost everyday. I found out he was overseas serving our country so I knew it was nice for him to talk to someone. He got ahold of a phone over there and began calling me everyday unless he was out on a mission. He came home in January. He lives in IL and I lived in CA so he came to visit me in March and in April I packed my stuff and now we happily live together and plan on getting married. So we are going on a year! I didn’t ever think I could find love on the internet but I did, so THANK YOU

Pat & Bruce

Hi a big thanks to this application,I meet my true love on here and we were only a half hour away from each other. Imagine your love of your life in your backyard so to speak and we too are planning to get married in the near future so thanks alot from Pat and Bruce.

Stacey & Josh

On a whim I decided to mess around one day & add this application. I never thought finding someone to fall in love with would be possible but I figured Id maybe at least make a few new friends outta the deal. I had been using this app for a few months & met an occasional person or two but nothing ever came of it besides friendships or nothing at all. One day I was checkin my mail & up on the side of the screen where all the ‘updates’ show up there was a guy I thought was kinda cute. So i opened his page & read his info. It was brief but it was stated a few things about his personal life that I found strange to have in common at our young age. So i wrote to him to say hi but not expecting anything back. A few days later I received an email with his number saying I think you should call me. I did. We talked for a week or 2 & decided to meet in person. The one bad thing was that he lives in another state 4.5 hours away from me. Still, I decided we had a stronger connection than ive ever found before & I needed to go meet him. It was love at first sight. Neither of us wanted to admit that seeing that we thought it wasnt normal to have that happen. Since then we’ve both fallen head over heels in love with each other & we see eachother as often as possible! We’re planning on having my son & I move in with him within the next few months & see where it goes. [Until then- that long drive will always be worth it!!] We even have discussed spending the rest of our lives together. I can not believe I “met someone online” but I honestly love him soo much & Id never have met him without this application. We never believed in fate before this…thank you for helpin us along & bringing us together.

Steve & Aynsley

I met Steve through ‘Are you interested?’ in October 2008, basically the first day of half term. Steve clicked yes on me, and I didn’t realize, until I was flicking through the people who clicked “yes” on me. When I had seen that Steve had clicked “yes” my heart started to beat faster. It was as though I knew he was the one for me straight away. So without hesitating I clicked “yes” back onto him. And then the next day he spoke to me. I was so happy. We started speaking in October 2008, but we waited till the 10th of January 2009 to get together. We spoke loads, sent each other pictures, videos and played games on MSN. We stayed up late talking to each other. The 10th January is where the relationship started. It was the best thing that had ever happened to me. It’s now been 6 months, and we still talk non-stop. We have late night conversations and phone calls. It is a long distance relationship, but we are both committed to make it last, forever. Next week; July 28th 2009, is the first time we will meet within the 6 months. This is because we couldn’t get to meet due to school and college. Soon we will both be able to drive so therefore we will see each other more regular. The six months have been amazing, and therefore I want to thank the “Are You Interested?” application for bringing us together. Steve means everything to me; he is so nice, caring, bubbly, funny, loving and everything nice under the sun. He is perfect. And most of all; I love him!

Sarah & Alli

Thanx for helping me find my soul mate.  I met the perfect girl for me…especially being gay its very hard to find someone committed like myself but thanx to this site Allison and Sarah now are heading into the 3rd or 4th month of the relationship both loving of one another and both very very similar in personality and beliefs which is fantastic as I myself was out of a bad relationship of 8 years an she had been out of one for less than 6 months.  We were not expecting love at first site thats for sure and I’m even considering the big question at Christmas…that’s how happy we are from meeting on here. One text message later and here we are today very much in love so thank you for the site and the work to help us meet we really do appreciate it

Danielle & Ignacio

Hi, my name is Danielle. I’d just like to thank AYI for helping me find the guy I plan on spending the rest of my life with. Because of AYI I found the love of my life, Ignacio. We talked for over 4 months and then I went on vacation to see him with my family. Those days with him were the best of my life. It was more than I imagined seeing him. He came to my hotel the day we first saw each other. And as he was walking in my heart was beating soo fast and I was freaking out. As soon as he saw me I ran over and hugged him. We spent the next 4 days together. I know Iggy would like to thank AYI too.  He’s told me like a thousand times we should send something in to thank them. This experience has really changed my life. Thank you for helping me find the man of my dreams

Caitlin

I wanted to say thank you, that because of this application I have met the love of my life. He changed my life for the better. He always knows how to make me smile and since we have been dating he has treated me way better than any other guy has ever treated me. We plan on getting married within the year :)

Jessica

I’m Jess. I started using AYI in Feb. of this year. I never thought these types of apps would be of any use to me. After a while, though, i met a guy on AYI. After messaging back and forth for days, we decided to start chatting. After 2 months of chatting, we decided to meet up. We’ve been dating ever since. I can’t believe how lucky I was to find someone like Derek nor that I was able to do it on AYI. Thanks so much.

MEGAN

Hey I’m Megan and I added the AYI app the beginning of this year. My heart had just been shattered by a guy I thought loved me and I thought the app would be a great way to meet new people and a way to get over him. I found so much more than that. I’ve met some of my best friends on here and I’ve almost met the guy of my dreams. He was the one who helped me when I thought that I’d never find anyone else to love. I love Daniel with all my heart and I know he loves me. Thanks so so much! I’m now a very very happy girl :]

EVI

Something in my picture, he claims…. LOL…Two profiles because issues with a virus and a year later… This app open the best opportunity, possibility of my life…

Paul and I have lived thru this year not really understanding how he ended up requesting my friendship and what took me so long to answer… It was meant to be…

I love her with all my heart she is my soul mate and my best friend. Thanks for your site without your help i would not have found her.

Suzanne: Sincere thanks to this site with love from Canada!  As tony mentioned we met by chance, and as fate would have it…our hearts became one.  October 17th 2008 will be a day never forgotten by either of us…it all began with hello.  Never in a million years would I think that I would fall in love through a site like Are You Interested.  Both of us enduring impossible and loveless relationships in the past, almost giving up on hope and finding what we all long for…love.  I am so crazy in love with him, as he is totally besotted with me, our lives have changed for the better and will continue to do so until the end of our days.  Tony has been to Canada in January, and I have travelled to England, only to await another visit in June from the love of my life.  We plan to be together forever residing in England after the long weekend in July.  I wish all of the people who visit and try out this site to find what we have found, good luck, and just one simple hint to everyone…never pretend to be someone you’re not because in the end your true colors will shine through, and the facade presented may not be what your partner was looking for…ending in broken hearts.  The partner of your dreams will love you for who you are, no need to be anythign but!!!!! Best wishes to all!  xx Suzanne from Canada xx  I LOVE YOU TONY…WITH ALL MY HEART!!  YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

Michelle

Hi my name is Michelle and I have met my soul mate right across the other side of the world through AYI.  I live in South Africa and he is in Kent South of England.  I know “Amazing” isn’t it?  We both clicked yes on each other and started chatting via e-mail and on the phone (not as much as we both wanted)  but we both made an effort.  Needless to say we have fallen hopelessly in love with one another and have made plans to be together.  He is leaving tomorrow 03/04/2009 and taking a business trip and then coming to me.  We can’t wait to be together and we both just know this if for life.  So thank you AYI for a wonderful site and giving us the chance to connect!

Brittany

I have found two guys on here…the second is the most wonderful guy ever. We have been together for almost 6 months now and plan on staying together for ever.. It took a year of talking to him to actually get him to go out on a date with me but it was worth it.  Thanks!

Kevin and Jake

We have plans to marry and we are so happy to have us each other, He called me angel, he says because i safe him when he was falling, and well i called him my baby, because he is so cute, so anyways, like i was saying, we met on the 14 of december, it was like a “normal” day for us but without knowing it, i send him a message and he answer back n well the rest is history….oh if u wasn’t notice we are gay lol both, n for those who doesn’t believe in gay love well here is an example n for those who doesn’t believe in love.IT REALLY DOES Exists..so if you are looking for ur true love never give up because u can find it…i remember the first day we saw each other i didn’t wanted to look at him lol,,, even though i wanted to, but if i do that it just make me kiss him n get lost in his wonderful eyes…so well there have been many problems that had been always in front of us, trying to break us apart, but that y is called LOVE because when someone love you that person is always there for you forever…but we are passing those problems together like we always do n always will…I LOVE YOU JAKE

PS. Sometimes i wonder y he turned and looked at me and accept to be my bf n future HUSBAND when there were many others around him, but well i asked him and he told me that he loves me only me and that he cant help loving me, and neither do I.

Jake, my baby, Thank you for being my bf and my husband. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And thank you Are You Interested? !!!!!!!!!!!  Together JAKEVIN

I met an amazing girl four months ago on Are You Interested. Still going strong, but I never imagined that I would be dating someone that I met online. Within a week our compatibility was evident and I knew I just had to meet her. I drive 60 miles every weekend to see her.

Hey!  So… on a whim, I added the, “Are you interested?” application to my facebook.  The first night I met an Extraordinary, beautiful girl named Krista.  She lived about twenty minutes away, and after about a month talking we both agreed to meet at her school’s Football Game.   The evening went perfect and we shared our first kiss before parting.  We have been together now for almost six months now.

Thanks again,

Zeke

Thanks to \”Are You Interested\” I have met the love of my life. I felt this application was very useful, considering other applications I have gone on, the only choice you have is to be a man interested in a woman, or the other way around.. no gay option allowed. This disappointed me, because I\’m a lesbian.. but AYI turned my life around! I have met so many amazing people, and made so many friends. I met the most beautiful, charming woman, and we have been dating for over a year now. We have a very good connection, and understanding going, and every second has been worth it.

But anyways..

I would recommend this application to anyone & everyone. I hope everyone\’s experience on this app is as great as, or greater than mine.

Best wishes,

Skyler.

Chris

I was nervous about adding people off of this. Really nervous. I decided to try it with one person and see how it went.  I added my boyfriend after I could not stop staring at the photo. he was everything I could dream for…it is going strong.

that is our story.

Thanks to this application we met only a few weeks ago but we already know that this is it for us, we are so in love and even though we have the 400 mile distance between us we know we’ll work it out, we had the most fantastic time together this week and it’s all because of one click on a “yes” that was all it took, to turn two lives around and become one together, so wonderful! and without this application we would never have met so thank you !!!     Love you Sooty!!! xxx

I found the chatroom for the AYI application and began to go in there just to chat with other people. The Conversations seemed to all be rather ridiculous. However, I began chatting with this girl, one day, that enjoyed the same humor as I and we began talking. Our conversations together became something special for the both of us. On November 12, 2008, we made it official. From then on, we have become inseperable. Distance is between us, somewhat, but it doesn’t really bother us. We are quintessential to one another. I can honestly say we were made for each other. Our hearts beat faster in the midst of one another, and her smile never ceases to take my breath away. I love her. She loves me. We couldn’t be happier. We both credit fate with bringing us together. I guess you could say that AYI is fate’s vessel? Nonetheless, i’m so grateful to both for bringing me together with the girl I love. Thank you AYI, she’s my whole world. Without you, I would never have found her.

I was a bit skeptical at first with all these applications but i did find someone and clicked yes on her, and we have been

together now 1 year she lives with me and its fantastic, thank you so much for the chance to be able to simply browse and be anonymous until you feel confident to send that first message and then chat etc. We started off as a message then gmail email then gmail chat then msn messenger chat then sms then mobile phone call then landline then we met after 2 days and the rest is history!

best regards

So after my boyfriend broke up with me, I was crushed and wanted to meet new people to take my mind off him. So I went browsing through facebook to find a app like that. I found AYI and it looked ok, so I added it. I created a profile and what not. It was incredible how fast i was getting hits. However, one in particular caught my attention on a muggy day in early august of 2008. I’m not sure why this one guy got my attention, but it did and we started to talk more and more. we started to like each other a lot. He made me so happy and he made me feel important. The only problem was that he lived on the other side of the country. that didn’t stop us from trying to be together. We eventually fell in love and we are currently in progress of setting up a place to meet. I love Brendan so much that he’s made me start to think about my future and how much I want him to be apart of it. I found the man I want to spend the rest of my live with, and nothing is going to stop me from doing just that.

I’ve meet the most incredible person ever!!! I have had the app “Are You Interested” for a while and was really looking forward to making some really good friends, and I have.  But one day I was clicked “yes” on the guy I can currently dating.  This was before I found out that there was another tab that said “browse all,” so I was just browsing all the people that were online.  He just so happened to be online when I clicked “yes” on him, and a day later I sent him a message.  On his end of the story, he said I was the most gorgeous girl that he had ever seen, or even clicked on him for that matter.  At first he thought it was just someone that was making a prank on him, and had a really nice picture.  But he told me that the only reason that he did click yes back on me was because I filled out the “about me” section.  After I got notified that he did click yes on me, I sent him a message on the app because I wasn’t too sure of him as a person.  After a couple of days and several hours of messaging each other, I decided to add him to my friend’s list.  About three days later we met at an amusement park and have been dating ever since.  We’ve completely fell in love with each other and are planning on getting married in the near future.  This app has brought me the love of my life, and I couldn’t be more thankful.

I wanted to let you know that I met my future wife because of this application!  We met last April, and now we are getting married in May of this year!!  Thank you for putting this together :)

Jacky

Just wanted to let you know that I met my partner thru Are You Interested in March this year – and now we’re getting married!  Thank you very much for this ap – was great fun meeting lots of different people and I’ve met my soul mate too.

Tom

I thought that I’d take the time to write to you to let you know how grateful I am to your application. I have had this app. for a while now. Ive had the odd ‘Yes’ click here and there but never really had much from it, until one day, at about 1am, I got a notification to say that i have had a new click on my profile. I opened up the application to see that there was this stunning girl who had clicked on me, and she lived in the same town to my surprise (all all the people who had clicked ‘Yes’ before had been from other coutries)

Well to cut a long story short, I clicked ‘Yes’ back, and minutes later I got a friend request from this girl. I accepted, and got talking to her and we have been dating ever since, and have big plans for marriage and a house together! I’ve never been happier!!

Well I just thought that you might like to take to time to hear a success story – not sure if you get many of them or not.

So Thank You ‘AYI’

I owe you a bevvy or three!

Antoine

Just wanted to thank you! Are You Interested changed the course of my life…

Chris

For me, there’s quite a bit new actually. I have an amazing girlfriend of almost 2 months. We met on the “Are You Interested?” application on Facebook. Lame? Completely. But it worked out and that’s all that matters. She clicked yes on me cuz she was bored and we started talking and ended up hitting it off even though neither of us had planned on anything coming of it.

Mandy

Two months ago I met a guy through this application, we have been seeing each other regularly and it’s going very well. He lives about 15 minute drive from me. I didn’t want to post on the board just yet,

but may do if things continue to go well Many thanks, Mandy :o )

Katie

Hi – Well I met a guy here on AYI and now we’ve met a couple of times and have decided to go out :) so yeah thanks for this wonderful app, it’s literally changed my life.

Cathy

I have totally loved this application as I have met so many great people (as well as a few dodgy but delete works!!!). The best thing about this application is I have found, met and totally fallen in love with my soul mate!!! We would possibly never have met if it were not for this application and facebook!!! I have searched for sites discussing love found through facebook and not found any so here I am starting a thread!!! I know of quite a few people who have fallen in love through the resources of this application!!!! So tell me, tell everyone the success you have had here especially if like me and my friends love was the last thing you expected !!!!

Nikki

Hello my name is Nikki and I’m from Detroit, MI. I have an incredible and real love story to share. This past July I was browsing around on an application called “Are You Interested” and stumbled upon someone that I rejected, not only once, but twice. Needless to say on the last time his picture came up…I figured…aw what the heck…at least he seems like he can be a good friend. 5 months later not only did I gain a good friend but an international boyfriend all the way from the UK.

Although I know you all may have heard several similar stories OUR story is a bit unique. Our journey was created with mp3 voice clips, shared poems, silly graffiti pictures, shared music videos, cell phone pictures, encouraging emails, SKYPE webcam,  and many late Saturday nights games. Finally on October 25, 2008 Add Curtis and I made a bit of facebook history, we finally met for the first time ever and it was

love at first sight. I stayed for 4 incredible days in his lovely homein the UK and then headed back home in love.

I got to meet the one of the most incredible and important people in my life thanks to facebook. Add Curtis is one of the most kind, loving and understanding men that I’ve met. Add is also very committed to us. He would wait, on SKYPE, every weekday around 6:00 just to make sure that my daughter and I got home safely. His time and consideration were not just sacrifices, they were acts of love.

Returning back was hard because what we experienced was a bit deeper. We needed time to re-evaluate the value of what we had, so we gave each other space to breathe because we knew…we found something so rare and real. We also knew that the possibility of us becoming more was very hopeful and bright…so bright that on November 23, 2008…I found out I was pregnant!!  I’m sharing our story because it is filled with so much love and potential to make the impossible possible.

We will be writing a book very soon to help share our story around the world and we are making plans to have this incredible child created with 100% love. It’s been decided that it would be within the best interest for me to move to the UK more likely in April 2009. We are in the process of saving and making extra funds possible to do this.  I will keep you all updated about our incredible story, so feel free to contact us if you would like. We would be more than happy to share in more detail our story. Thank you so much for your time and for reading our story.
